Monthly Archives: April 2009First baseball of the year! I haven’t been to Junction Middle School since I played hockey on the outdoor rink a few years ago. So about a week or so ago I had the chance to photograph the Livermore National Little League for an evening with Action Shooters Norcal. We still have more teams to... 4 comments May 1, 2009 - 8:47 pm
Scott, I happened upon your site looking for another. Your shots are fantastic. I take sports action shots as a hobby. What kind of camera did you use? How big is your lens? What do you set your aperature at? May 2, 2009 - 7:07 pm
Hi! For my MTB stuff I use a 70-200 F2.8, sometimes with a teleconverter. Usually I shoot at around F3.2 -3.5. I normally use a Nikon D2h for sports, but I recently picked up a D300, and after my recent MTB race I’ll probably start using that camera. June 8, 2009 - 2:35 pm
Scott, I am a parent from LNLL. We missed your picture day and were waiting all season for the pro action shots! My son was on the Cardinals (t-ball). Is there any way to view/purchase photos? I know our entire team is interested! Debbie July 21, 2009 - 12:58 pm

Nice!! Glad you were able to make it over to see it! I love the people standing next to it…it really puts into perspective how big it is!!! April 22, 2009 - 1:52 pm
Thank you so much… this steamer went by our station in Oakland this morning.. we ran to the 3rd floor to catch a glimpse of it… what a historic moment… I really appreciate your sharing your photos… to see it up close & in such detail is amazing! Thanks again! April 27, 2009 - 9:25 pm

Thank for taking such great pictures of the 844. The 844 is my favorite engine of all. It is in my Lionel train book. I am 5 and I wish I was there too. From Hunter and my sister Madison |
