This was a short, but very sweet wedding.  I was contacted about a week before the wedding.  The groom is in the Air Force and stationed in Monterrey.  He wasn’t able to get leave on his original wedding date but last minute got leave to go off base and get married.  So the wedding was planned & done within about 1 – 1 1/2 weeks.  Very intimate ceremony with just family.

This wedding was a total blast.  The bride wanted to have her wedding out in sunny California because its always wet and cold in New Hampshire at this time of year.  I guess she brought the cold weather out with her because we had cold weather & rain on the wedding day.  We went with it and really enjoyed it.

These photos are by a San Jose family portrait photographer of the Mosher family.  My cousin asked if I could do a quick portrait session with his and his wife’s brother & sister to create some images for her grandparents.

We headed out to Oak Meadow Park in Los Gatos, CA.  We ended up being out taking photos for about an hour and then spend a little extra time hanging out and catching up a little bit.  This is one of my favorite places to take photographs as there is a lot of different options.

We decided we’d get photos of each family and some candids of the kids playing around together.  Luckily for me they had fun running around climbing poles, playing in the sand, and just being kids.

The Mount Timpanogos Temple and the park next to it is a great place for engagement photos.  We took Aimee & Jacobs engagement photos at the park next to the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, UT.  This may be close to a record of the time between when Aimee & Jacob got engaged to having their engagement photos taken.  Jacob proposed on 2/23 and we did their engagement photos on 2/26.  Out of all the engagement sessions I’ve done, this was by far the coldest.  They were troopers though even as I had them sit on a cold rocky ledge leaning against cold metal slabs

We spent about two hours walking around, climbing trees, doing handstands, and doing whatever else we could to stay warm.  And yes, I mean doing handstands literally as you will see.

I was able to be the second photographer at this wedding with Keith Simonian.  The wedding was held at the Lone Tree Golf & Event Center in Antioch, CA.  I started getting nervous as I drove out to the wedding from San Jose since there was a decent sized grass fire in Pittsburg, and the wind was blowing smoke towards Antioch.  Luckily by the time the wedding started the smell had mostly gone away.  Though me, since it was a little warm that day decided to leave my car windows partially down to keep my car cooler.  I was able to then drive the entire way home back to San Jose with the windows down to get the smell of smoke out of my car.  It was a fun day though for this Antioch wedding photographer.

I was asked to second shoot this wedding with Sam Hassas, who is also a San Francisco wedding photographer.  My day started in San Mateo at their house photographing the guys getting ready.  After taking their photos for a while we headed over to the church which was also in San Mateo for the ceremony.

After that I got to re learn how to drive a stick shift.  I drove one throughout high school but only 3-4 times after.  So I got to remember how while driving up hwy 280 & 19th street in San Francisco.  Oh goody.  I only had to use the E brake trick once though, and I only stalled it once.

We went to a few places in San Francisco for some bridal party photos, including the Palace of Fine Arts and the California Palace of the Legion of Honor.  After spending some time there we headed out to the Yank Sing restaurant in downtown San Francisco for the reception.

I had the pleasure of photographing this family at the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden.  The park is 5 1/2 acres, but is partially filled with hundreds of rose bushes of different colors and variety.  The other part is a huge grassy area and dividing the two places is some trees.

We spent a little over an hour photographing them in different settings around the park.  These kids were absolutely adorable!  We had a blast getting the kids to pose & smile for us.

I really enjoyed photographing this wedding.  Even though it was in December, we had perfect weather up at the Oakland LDS Temple.  The wedding was attended by their close friends & family so it was a small intimate affair.

We spent a couple hours photographing the couple around the Temple grounds.  Thanks to the grooms dad I learned a couple new spots to take photographs at  Photos done by the LDS wedding photography company, Scott Mosher Photography.

I had a the chance to photograph the Saratoga Stake New Years Eve dance on the 31st.  The church had a photo booth set up and the kids all came and got their photos taken.  Some decided to get dressed up while others decided that the normal clothes were good enough for it.
