Images by the Bay Area Wedding Photographer Scott Mosher of the wedding of Stephanie & Jon at the Oakland LDS Temple.
After doing the engagement photos for Stephanie & Jon I knew the wedding was going to be very fun. Due to the schedule of the ceremony time & the reception we opted to do all the B&G portraits before the ceremony. We did their “first look” at the top of the stairs leading to the upper courtyard. After getting a few portraits there, we headed out to Joaquin Miller Park for some variety and a different location. There we had some fantastic light and came out with some great portraits of both of them.
After spending an hour or so there we headed back to the Temple for a few more portraits before they had to go inside and check in and get ready for the ceremony. My 2nd shooter and I passed the time by going to eat some burgers and get a quick slideshow ready for the reception.
After their wedding ceremony was finished we photographed them as they came out of the Temple as well as their family portraits and bridal party pictures. As soon as we got those finished it was time to head back to the reception.
The reception. Wow. They transformed this backyard into an amazing place for the reception. TONS of flowers, vintage heirlooms, portraits hanging from trees, flowers in the pool, everything. The only downside was mother nature decided it would be a good day for wind which made some of the decorations hard to keep in one place. During the ceremony they had a ring ceremony, dinner, and the usual semi embarrassing speeches from the fathers and bridal party.
Stephanie & Jon made their grand exit using sparklers, which is always fun to photograph. Right before they left though I got word from a groomsman that they had something special planned for after the couple left. To see what they had planned, check out the last few pictures

One of me with Stephanie & Jon. All tired after a long fun day!
He rented a dog to help propose. They decided they had to adopt the dog. So here is his debut.
Yea, there was no way I was going to miss this once I heard about what they were planning.
