2010When the idea of us getting together for a portrait session the location was pretty easy for me to pick out. We headed out to downtown San Jose to a location I’ve photographed at before to try out some new ideas as well as getting some specific photographs. After we photographed there for a little while, we cruised around the outskirts of downtown looking for some other locations. We found another great one across from and at the Shark tank (HP Pavilion, officially).

I’ve known Arias parents since we were in 7th grade. So its been really fun to see how life has changed for all of us. We did the newborn photo session at their condo when she was about 2 weeks old. We had fun getting some images for the few minutes she was sleeping, then some extra images while she was awake. We had a few ideas that sounded great on paper, but in reality were tough to pull off. Luckily she didn’t spit up on us during the photo shoot, well at least nothing that bad.
