2013I was asked by another Bay Area wedding photographer Sam Hassas (who I’ve worked with lots) to come and help photograph the wedding of Lauren and Frank. The wedding was held at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, CA.
The day started off with me hanging out taking candid photographs of the groom & groomsmen hanging out in their hotel room at the Fairmont as well as getting ready. We spent the morning hanging out, and these guys were having a great time. We were able to have some extra time to a good amount of groom & groomsmen portraits before we had to head off to the church.
They were married at the Saint John Vianney Catholic church in San Jose. The ceremony was well attended by their family & friends.
After we finished the family portraits at the church we all headed back to the Fairmont Hotel for their wedding reception. I spent most of the reception photographing candid portraits of the guests as well as alternate angles of the main events.

2013I was asked by Melania Mahoney, a Sonoma wedding photographer to help photograph the wedding of Jamie & John in Sonoma County at a private residence in the hills above Sonoma/Napa. The wedding was an intimate small wedding at the grooms parents house. They had done some beautiful landscaping of the grounds and had everything set up for the wedding. It was a photographers dream with the house and landscape looking really good. At night during the reception after the sun went down we had some fantastic and dramatic lighting done on the house, pool, and grounds.
