The Mount Timpanogos Temple and the park next to it is a great place for engagement photos. We took Aimee & Jacobs engagement photos at the park next to the Mount Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, UT. This may be close to a record of the time between when Aimee & Jacob got engaged to having their engagement photos taken. Jacob proposed on 2/23 and we did their engagement photos on 2/26. Out of all the engagement sessions I’ve done, this was by far the coldest. They were troopers though even as I had them sit on a cold rocky ledge leaning against cold metal slabs

We spent about two hours walking around, climbing trees, doing handstands, and doing whatever else we could to stay warm. And yes, I mean doing handstands literally as you will see.

Kimberly & Eric: Engaged!

We had a fantastic session with Kimberly & Eric out in Provo the other day for their engagement photos. The weather was interesting, as we had high winds blowing dust everywhere, a decent sized fire in Provo earlier, and a big fire off hwy 80 that had smoke blowing all over. We ended up with an overcast day but we were able to make some beautiful images. I am looking forward to photographing their wedding in the Oakland LDS Temple in June. Big thanks to my buddy Shane for helping us out (and taking some behind the scenes pics & alternate angles)

While we were doing the swing photos, I tried in vain to stay in sync with both of them. In comedic relief, I made the comment of, “Why is it they can stay in sync but I’m not able to?” Kimberly wasted no time in replying, “Thats cuz we’re engaged, and you’re not!”
