I had the pleasure of photographing this family at the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden in San Jose, CA. We spent an hour or so wandering around and photographing them in different settings. These kids were absolutely adorable!

I met the Adapalas while photographing a birthday party (pics of that to come later!) and their little girl was turning one and they needed some photos done before they headed out to India to see family. So we headed out to Vasona/Oak Meadow Park in Los Gatos, California for our session.

We went to some areas of the park that I hadn’t photographed before, and we had a blast. Enjoy!

Once again, I’ve got the Brooksby/Troha clan on my blog. Not that its a bad thing, in fact I always enjoy hanging out with this group. Especially since we’ve been hanging out since about 1998/1999. Yeap, its been that long.

Jen & little Joe were in town for a few days so us and her parents headed out to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk & the beach for the first day of our session. For day two we went to a local park and did some extended family photos while we were there.

I’ve known Ethan since well, probably 2000 or so. I started working at Doggone Good then and worked for his mother. Now that he is all grown up & is heading off to school in Boston, MA we did a quick portrait session with him & his girlfriend Tara.

Enjoy Boston, and I hope you enjoy cold winters, as I’ve heard they are quite fun out there

San Jose Family Portrait Photographer: The Ellis Family

After a few reschedules due to kids being sick I finally got a chance to meet up with the Ellis family and hang out in San Francisco for a few hours photographing them.

Since they’re friends with my wife & oldest kid, we decided to make a big family trip out and hang out before/during/after the session. We spent most of our time at Fort Baker next to the Golden Gate Bridge. After our family session there we headed over to the Palace of Fine Arts to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Due to me spraining my knee during a freak accident (thats what I call it) while shooting the weekend before I mostly relaxed while at the Palace of Fine Arts.

I’m happy to report now that my knee is getting pretty close to normal. I’d probably be close to returning to riding my bike & putting my hockey gear on if I hadn’t had an extremely enjoyable 3 day wedding this past weekend. More on that to come on a different post later

San Jose Family Portrait Photographer: The Moyer Family

Well I got to spend about 2 hours with this family (and extended family) and I felt like I was a part of it after. Learning that one of the family members went to high school with my uncle was pretty fun to find out as well.

The cause of the occasion was the matriarch of the family turning 90 years young. So family members came in from far and wide to celebrate the day.
