Another great tournament at the beginning of this year!  Once again the Idle Monkeys entered in, this time at a higher division.  We had a few roster changes due to one player not being able to fly out from OR and one dropping out last minute.  But we all had fun, and winning our division didn’t help our fun either

Since we ended up playing 7 games and we decided to head out after for some grub, I wasn’t able to take that many photos.  Maybe next tourny I’ll have the chance to bring some of my extra gear & lighting and photograph more of the tournament.

Well the games were tiring, but for the most part people looked like they had fun.   I got there in time to shoot the teams in the division that played at 3pm.  I was hoping to get the teams in the Upper Loch Ness division, but I found it too tough to get my gear on, play, then go shoot & get ready for my next game.  I was #99 on the Idle Monkeys.  I kwow I had fun, and the rest of my team really enjoyed playing with ya’ll, & look forward to some rematches next time!  Due to scheduling changes (on my part) I was only able to make the Saturday afternoon games.   Link to the galleries can be found here.

Unfortunately during the Championship game right after the other team scored their 2nd goal, my skate frame broke, and my front wheel wouldn’t spin.  So I kinda kicked it back into place & finished off the last 5 mins on a halfway working skate.  So goodbye, no name brand of skates which I bought for $50 6 years ago.  You’ve been good to me!
