2013I got a call asking if I could be a kids birthday party photographer for Bens party a couple weeks go and once I checked my calender I realized I was 2nd shooting a wedding that day. After I got the details from the family about the party I realized I would be done in time to make the wedding. And the party was on the way to the wedding in the first place! So I was admittedly overdressed for the occasion but it was an awesome party.
The party was put together by Kids Posh Parties who handled getting the games, table settings, pretty much all the decorations. They did a really good job running the games, playing with the kids, and the decorations were FANTASTIC. They had a “Cars” themed kids birthday party setup and I didn’t realize how much “Cars” party stuff there was in existence!
Also Joanna’s Face Painting was there painting the childrens faces. She was very quick and the faces looked fantastic, which you will see in the images below.

2013I met up with the Rudd family for their Santa Cruz family portrait session at Natural Bridges State Beach in Santa Cruz. This was the second time I had been to Natural Bridges and the first time doing family portraits there.
We started off our session at the path leading to where the Monarch Butterflies hang out during parts of the winter. There was a nice wood path that we followed for a short distance. We did some family portraits there in addition to some candid/fun ones of the kids playing around.
