I met Mariel when I photographed her brothers wedding a few years ago. When she called me to inquire about me shooting her wedding and she told me some of the details of her vintage themed wedding I knew it was going to be really fun.
For their engagement session we headed up to Thornewood Open Space Preserve in the hills above Portola Valley. We walked up a dirt path for a little bit and then started our engagement session. I photographed the couple there for a little while before we headed back into the cars to head up to Windy Hill Preserve off Skyline Blvd.

2013I was lucky enough to photograph the wedding of Nena & Marcus a couple years ago, and they got a hold of me and asked if I could photographer her mothers birthday party. I had photographed a wedding at this restaurant a few years ago so it was nice returning to it.
Did I mention it was a surprise party? Well they got her good, as she had friends who had come a long way to see her.
