San Jose Rose Garden

The Ellefsens.  This wasn’t just one family shoot, this was pretty much 5 shoots combined into one.  I’ve know the older girls since high school, and since they were all in town for a few days we scheduled a family session.  Since they were all up in Livermore, we decided that would be the best place for the family portraits.  Much easier for me to head up there solo than for them to pack everyone into multiple cars & head down to San Jose.

The ceremony was held at the Cathedral Basilica of St Joseph in San Jose, CA.  In addition to the Machados, there was another 10 or so infants/kids who were also going through the ceremony.  After the ceremony we did all their family portraits inside the church, as well as some photos outside the church.

This was my first time photographing a christening session, and it was quite an honor to do so.
